“What You Do Today Can Improve All Your Tomorrows” – Ralph Marston

If you are working towards something, remind yourself that what you do today will make a better future. If you want to lose weight, remind yourself that future you will be happier and healthier if you can follow your weight loss plan and make better choices. Happiness from food is temporary, but happiness from knowing that you have the strength to delay your gratification is long-term 🙂

    • It’s one of my favorites! Yes absolutely! It’s similar to the idea that I could spend all of my money right and and be happy for a little bit or do the smart thing and save some. Both money and eating habits are very complex topics though so I understand that it’s not black and white.
